This is a demonstration game designed to show how Whiz Kids creates engaging, evidence-based literacy programs for children with diverse learning needs.

• 5 Learning Stages: In this game, each word goes through Learn → Meaning → Spelling → Sentence → Letter Ordering. We customise the learning stages dependent on the skill targeted and your child’s individual needs.
• Customised Content: In the full program, words and sentence frames are tailored to your child’s specific NDIS goals (participation, independence, safety, emotional regulation)
• Multisensory Learning: Audio support, visual cues, and interactive elements engage different learning styles
• Positive Reinforcement: Collect cosmic treasures and celebrate success with explosions!
• Progress Tracking: Stats show attempts and accuracy per word, helping identify areas for focus

♿ Sensory Accessibility 🌙

We can customize games for individual sensory needs: adjust sound volumes, modify visual effects, change color schemes for light sensitivity, remove animations, or add high-contrast modes. Just let us know your child’s preferences!

🔊 Changing Voice Settings ⭐

This game uses your device’s built-in text-to-speech voice. You can change the voice to suit your child’s preference:

• Mac: System Preferences → Accessibility → Spoken Content → System Voice (choose from options like Samantha, Alex, or download more voices)
• Windows: Settings → Time & Language → Speech → Manage voices (add or change voices from Microsoft Speech)
• iPad/iPhone: Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → English (select from available voices)
• Android: Settings → Accessibility → Text-to-Speech → Preferred engine/Language
• Chrome: The game will use voices available in your operating system

Tip: Restart your browser after changing voice settings for the changes to take effect!

📊 Tracking & Reporting 🛰️

All full Whiz Kids games include detailed tracking of your child’s progress. The “View Stats” feature shows accuracy rates and number of attempts per word. You can share this data with us via the built-in sharing function to help monitor progress towards NDIS goals.
