Here’s the process in easy steps:
Share a Short Video of Your Child
We’ll send you a simple picture book with everyday objects (like animals or food). Record a quick 2-3 minute video of your child naming items and chatting about something fun, like “What did you have for lunch?” Upload it securely through our app.
We Check If ‘IRIS Speech’ Is a Good Fit
Our speech therapists review the video. IRIS is best for kids with phonological issues (sound pattern errors). If it’s not the right match, we’ll guide you to other services. All kids need a recent hearing check before starting— we’ll confirm this with you
Complete a Full Home Assessment
If eligible, we’ll send a detailed activity pack to test all speech sounds. You do it at home (fun and easy!), record short videos, and submit them. We’ll create a personalised summary report outlining your child’s strengths and areas to work on.
Get Your Custom Story and Therapy Tools
We build an online story featuring your child as the star! It includes avatars of your family and friends, tied to their interests. The story targets their specific speech sounds, plus extras like vocab, values or skills (e.g., got to bed). You’ll get step-by-step activities to achieve mastery in to everyday talking.
Regular Check-Ins and Progress Tracking
Every two to three weeks, we’ll chat via video call to see how things are going.
Use our app to log practice, upload videos, and share feedback.
We’ll tweak the story and activities as your child improves.
Move to the Next Step and Celebrate
We tackle one or two speech patterns at a time.
Once mastered, we create the next custom story if needed. When done, you’ll get tips to keep skills strong. The whole program is flexible—typically 3-6 months, depending on your child.
