Screening and assessment in the early years provides parents and teachers with invaluable information about their children’s speech, language and literacy strengths and weaknesses. Early identification of children who have learning challenges means that the proper support and resources can be put in place to ensure children have all the resources they need to reach their potential.
Whiz Kids can design screens for Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year One students (4 to 6 year olds), administer the screen, and provide a report for each child. Each screen is designed to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the child’s speech, language and reading readiness, and typically takes 30 minutes per child.
The cost is $80 per child.
